Subjects for The President's Competition are
'On the farm'..........and...........'On the beach'
We are a small friendly club based in Ormskirk, West Lancashire. Our season runs from September through to early May. However we do try to arrange some shoots during the summer months. We have a wide range of experience within our club members. Some do like to enter national and international exhibitions whilst others are just happy to socialise and attend the meetings.
We try to offer a wide range of topics in our syllabus as well as holding our own internal competitions. Many of our external speakers are experts in a particular field of photography, but we also use the expertise of our own members.
Like most photographic societies, we do not run photographic courses, although we do include in house practical evenings within the syllabus,
Most of our members now use digital cameras but there is still room for anyone still using film cameras.
If you are interested in photography, whatever your level of expertise, why not visit us? You will be most welcome.
